Functional Abilities Evaluation
During patient recuperation, functional abilities evaluation allows a physiotherapist to evaluate the patient’s ability to physically and functionally perform. It measures their ability to perform certain tasks safely and also measures impairment levels. This also aids in designing a proper approach for a rehabilitation program. This is vital to determine whether the patient is physically capable of returning back to work. This allows the physicians to determine what adjustments need to be made in their recovery plan and the amount of time required before they can return to work. This treatment is typically followed by work conditioning/ work hardening.
